BIO

nightwaves.fm is my night-music project in Rincón, Puerto Rico. I play percussion-forward sets — Afro house, Latin rhythms, tribal records — outdoors and close to the water, some nights with projections and light built for the space.

The music

I play percussion-forward sets: Afro house, Latin rhythms, tribal records that suit open air and a late start.

Coming back

I DJ'd for years, stepped away for a while, and came back to it under this name.

Light and soundcasts

Some nights pair the music with audio-reactive projections and light built for the specific space, so no two look the same. Between events I publish recorded sets as soundcasts.

Tech rider.

I bring

Controller and laptop — the full playback rig, no backline needed. Projector, laptop and cabling when the night includes visuals.

The venue provides

House sound, with a line into the system at the booth. A stable table at working height, and room to stand behind it. Grounded power at the booth on a circuit not shared with kitchen or refrigeration.

Also from the venue

Cover overhead — outdoor sites near the water get rain and spray, and salt air is hard on gear. Someone on site through the night with keys, breaker access, and authority to fix things.
